It’s been all over our social media accounts, but we just can’t stop talking about how much fun we had at Variety’s Power of Women Luncheon last Friday!

Every year, a Power of Women event is held, dedicated to honoring a group of women for their philanthropic efforts – and for being leading voices in charitable outreach. This year, which marks the seventh year of the Power of Women events, 500 Hollywood insiders were in attendance to honor the five honorees: Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Jennifer Lopez, Reese Witherspoon, and Universal Pictures chairman, Donna Langley.

Each woman received a “Lifetime Impact” award for their chosen charities. Viola Davis raised over $4.5 million for Hunger Is, Jane Fonda founded the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power, Jennifer Lopez for The Lopez Family Foundation, Reese Witherspoon represented the Malala Fund, and Donna Langley spoke out for Vital Voices.
